No mould, so no two the same.
A factory makes thousands of the same thing because a mould costs thousands. A printer needs no mould, so every piece can be different at no extra cost. Datum uses that to draw each piece from an identifier unique to its owner, one line at a time.
Reveal: 170 mm tall, about 1,060 layers, drawn in about four and a half hours.
Type something that is yours: a date, a name, a place, a word. Its pattern is drawn below, live, on the lamp and as the piece's drawing sheet.
Your piece's number adds the final detail when it is drawn, so the lamp you receive belongs to this family and is the only one like it.
Ten Reveal lamps, numbers 0002 to 0011, each drawn to order from its owner's identifier. Every piece is numbered, and its drawing sheet is kept on record.
If one ever breaks, it is drawn again under its own number.
The list hears first, 48 hours before the release opens to everyone.
